Lightweight Outfitting

Ever hauled an 85 pound canoe packed with mosquitos over a long rocky portage on a hot July day? We don’t recommend starting now. No one enjoys a portage (I once heard it was french for torture) and there’s no point adding insult to injury lugging extra pounds around. We’ve put this package together keeping weight in mind. You’ll suffer less and travel further with our lightweight outfitting package.

Let us take care of your park entry fees, permits and campsite registration. We’ve put together a rockin’ good backcountry menu that highlights a mix of fresh local food coupled with dehydrated meals designed by the experts. Simplicity is the goal, and you’ll score good with this option. Heck, you won’t have to lift a finger pre-trip, just pack your clothing, a toothbrush and your credit card!

Arrive at Jake’s Landing with your toothbrush, credit card and personal gear and you’ll find all your equipment plus food ready to go! We’ll make sure nothing is overlooked, and we’ll even help you with the final stages of packing. You won’t have to stress a minute as we pay attention to every detail with this package.
